Multi-Agent Programming Contest 2011 Edition Evaluation and Team Descriptions

TheMulti-Agent Programming Contest is an annual competition in agentbased artificial intelligence. The year 2011 marked the beginning of a new phase with the introduction of the Agents-on-Mars-scenario. The focus was shifted towards heterogeneous multi-agent systems with both competitive and cooperative agent interaction. On top of that, new means for evaluating the performance of individual agents and whole agent teams were designed and established. In this document we will provide a systematic, statistical evaluation of the 2011 tournament. In a second part we will also present in-depth descriptions of the participating teams.
